Last night, Candy Hearts played a show in a New Brunswick basement called Octopus Studios with People in Charge and Gary B and the Notions (who came all the way from Baltimore!). It was weird, because that whole basement scene that New Jersey is so famous for is weird, but in a good way. I love New Jersey. I had White Castle on the way back for the first time ever. It's not as good as everyone says. I broke my almost 10 year streak of eating only organic beef. Sorry Mom, I will probably get mad cow now.
